Our Management Team

Mr. Wasserman is President of White Mountains Re Solutions Ltd. and has over twenty years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Mr. Wasserman has a leading role in the due diligence, management and run-off administration of acquisitions, the underwriting of loss portfolio transactions and the management of the claims function. Prior to joining White Mountains, Mr. Wasserman held various Director positions with Reliance Portfolio Solutions Ltd. and Travelers Property/Casualty. His experience includes Commercial Lines Catastrophe Management, International Property Underwriting and various positions managing both assumed and ceded reinsurance claims, billing & collections, liquidations and commutations as part of the runoff of a number of reinsurance and insurance portfolios.

Mr. Wasserman holds a B.S. degree in Business Management and Applied Economics from Cornell University as well as the Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) designation.

Mr. Terelmes is Senior Vice President of White Mountains Re Solutions Ltd. and has over fifteen years of financial service accounting and audit experience. Since joining White Mountains, Mr. Terelmes has played a primary role in the acquisition and run-off of several companies and in the underwriting of insurance solutions. His financial expertise and strategic planning abilities add considerable value to the due diligence, acquisition and run-off management processes. Prior to joining White Mountains, Mr. Terelmes was an Accounting Manager with Reliance Portfolio Solutions Ltd. and Travelers Property Casualty. He also served as a Senior Audit Officer for Bank of America (Fleet Bank).

Mr. Terelmes' experience includes GAAP and Statutory accounting, financial analysis and modeling, management of commutation, liquidation and insolvency functions, due diligence, financial reviews of small businesses and management of financial and operational audits of reinsurance, commercial banking, investments and trusts.

Mr. Terelmes earned his CPA designation in 1995 and is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Terelmes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bob Jones University.

Mr. Biegaj is Vice President and Chief Actuary of White Mountains Re Solutions Ltd. and has over twenty-five years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. He is responsible for the actuarial analysis of all the company's acquisition opportunities. Prior to joining White Mountains, Mr. Biegaj held various officer level positions with Travelers Property/Casualty, Royal and Sun Alliance and The Hartford. His experience includes pricing and reserving both Personal and Commercial Lines business, planning, product development, financial analysis and modeling, Schedule P preparation and reinsurance commutations.

Mr. Biegaj is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut.

Ms. Powers is Vice President of White Mountains Re Solutions Ltd. and has over twenty years of insurance, reinsurance, and legal experience. Ms. Powers has a senior role in claim due diligence, manages the direct and reinsurance claims of the various runoff books of business acquired, researches and analyzes potential acquisitions for pricing appropriate risk transfer products and conducts legal and industry research.

Prior to joining White Mountains, Ms. Powers held various Assistant Vice President, Director and paralegal positions with Reliance Portfolio Solutions Ltd., Travelers Property/Casualty, plaintiff and defense law firms. Her experience includes claim management of books of business in run-off, direct and reinsurance claim audits, due diligence reviews, commutation proposals, settlement negotiations, trial and arbitration preparation. Ms. Powers has handled a variety of commercial liability and property matters including but not limited to asbestos, environmental, medical malpractice, professional liability, law enforcement, and workers’ compensation.

Ms. Powers acquired an Associate in Reinsurance designation in 1993 and CPCU designation in 1996 and is a Connecticut licensed casualty adjuster. She is a graduate of the University of Hartford, and holds an ABA approved paralegal certificate from Adelphi University.

Mr. Roth is Vice President of White Mountains Re Solutions Ltd. and has over fifteen years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. His responsibilities include marketing and underwriting new opportunities and managing direct claims including coverage issues, settlement negotiations,  and reinsurance billing and collection.

Prior to joining White Mountains, Mr. Roth was with Reliance Portfolio Solutions Ltd. as Accounting Manager/Reinsurance Claims Specialist where he played a central role in the claims and accounting due diligence process supporting the underwriting of loss portfolio transfers and other retrospective reinsurance covers. Additionally, Mr. Roth spent eight years in Travelers Insurance Company’s assumed reinsurance operation; most recently as Claims Manager responsible for the technical and operational management of various excess of loss claims including asbestos, hazardous waste, D&O, and medical malpractice exposures. Other areas of responsibility included claim auditing, commutations, training, financial reporting, proportional account processing and systems support.

Mr. Roth received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Central Connecticut State University in 1990 and earned an Associate in Reinsurance designation in 1997.

Mr. Henriksson is Managing Director, European Operations for White Mountains Re Solutions Ltd. He has over twenty-five years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. He joined the White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. in 2001 as President of Fund American Reinsurance Company, Ltd., White Mountains’ initial international reinsurance platform. Mr. Henriksson also currently serves as Executive Vice President of Sirius International, as President of Sirius (Denmark) A/S and as a board member of other White Mountains affiliated companies. Since joining White Mountains he has been involved in each of White Mountains’ European acquisitions. Prior to joining White Mountains, Mr. Henriksson held an executive position with a large Sweden based insurance group, responsible for the group’s reinsurance and industrial insurance businesses.
